Job Title: Oracle Presales Consultant
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Oracle Presales Consultant to join our team. As an Oracle Presales Consultant, you will work closely with the sales team and prospective clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored Oracle solutions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in demonstrating the value and capabilities of Oracle products to clients, ultimately helping drive sales success and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and help develop customized Oracle solutions.
Act as a technical consultant during pre-sales engagements, providing subject matter expertise on Oracle technologies.
Participate in meetings with prospective clients to assess their needs, challenges, and goals.
Prepare and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops to highlight Oracle solutions' capabilities and benefits.
Solution Design & Architecture:
Design and architect Oracle-based solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
Guide clients on Oracle product selection, integration, and deployment strategies.
Develop and deliver proof of concepts (PoCs) to demonstrate the functionality and value of Oracle solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations.
Understand clients' technical environments and challenges and suggest appropriate Oracle solutions to address those challenges.
Provide technical advice and best practices to help clients optimize Oracle products.
Proposal Development:
Work with the sales team to create compelling proposals, including technical specifications, project timelines, and pricing information.
Assist in the preparation of RFIs, RFPs, and other technical documentation.
Product Knowledge & Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on the latest Oracle product offerings, updates, and industry trends.
Share knowledge with internal teams and provide training or knowledge transfer sessions as required.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Oracle product management, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop materials and resources that support sales and technical demonstrations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in Oracle solutions presales or a technical consulting role.
Strong understanding of Oracle product suite, including Oracle Cloud, Oracle databases, and Oracle applications (e.g., ERP, SCM, CRM).
Experience in solution architecture, system integration, and cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with common enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, technical teams, and clients.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Database).
Experience with other enterprise software products such as SAP, Salesforce, etc.
Knowledge of industry-specific solutions and verticals.
Experience with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
